Book #7 Complete

Princess Academy by Shannon Hale... just finished this book not five minutes ago. What a cute, and fun story. I really enjoyed this tale of mountain girls turned princesses!
Miri, the main character, is a tiny young lady with a big heart and mind. Her pa will not let her work in the quarry with the other villagers because of her side, so she is left to the goats! Then the Royal Messenger is sent to summon all girls from ages 12-17 to The Princess Academy. These twenty girls are taken from their homes to live in an old quarry homestead and learn the rules of the Kingdom. The prince is to come in one year and choose his bride. Olana, the head tutor is far from nice, but the girls get her in Chapter 13. Bandits come, quarry speach is spoken and in the end, there really is a happiliy ever after! Rating: Love it!
Happy Reading and don't forget to read my blog posts on latterdaywoman.com!
